How does Sci-Fi effect how we develope technology?
The Sci-fi film that I chose is Star trek. Though, we don't have to ability to travel @ warp speed, and we can't beam ourselves down to planets, we're working on it. Humans have always loved space travel, we've always wanted to be a apart of it, always will. We have entire government programs dedicated to developing space shuttles, and trying to make them more efficient so we can sustain life and go further and deeper into space. Though, I'm really hoping there isn't any creepy aliens who are hell-bent and taking over the universe, there may be. We're working on jet packs, we have them made, but they're so big. we could never really use them in space, well, we could, because of the whole weightlessness of it all, but still, the more compact, the better. I think, when we find/create red matter, there's going to be a huge controversy because of who gets to use it, and how it's used, so we're going to need to live in space, especially if a country decided to red-matter another country. I honestly think that some scientist, somewhere, who has gone completely mad, has attempted to make red-matter based on the new star trek movie. Good luck to him.
